The Encantado is perfectly situated on 57 beautifully landscaped acres in the upscale Santa Fe suburb of Tesuque - a seven-minute drive north of Santa Fe's Historic Plaza. It is the newest member of the famed Auberge Resorts and is set upon the pristine site of the historic Rancho Encantado. Terra restaurant serves modern rustic cuisine in a contemporary, casual setting and draws on regional influences for its inspiration and features local organic, seasonal ingredients, including many from its own bio-dynamic garden. The Spa at Encantado offers 15 treatment rooms and suites. The healing arts offered will include massage and bodywork, ayurvedic rituals, Asian medicine traditions, regionally inspired treatments and eastern herbalism featuring organically grown herbs. The resort's 65 casitas display a contemporary interpretation of traditional Santa Fe, featuring stucco exteriors in soft earthy tones, oversized windows, square-cut wood beams, a wood-burning fireplace and a private patio. There are 56 Casitas and nine one-bedroom casita suites - each with a wood burning Kiva fireplace, patio, 42-inch flat screen TV, Bose iPod docking station, wireless Internet access, in-room safe and a mini-bar stocked with complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Bathrooms are equipped with a soaking tubs, separate showers, private water closets, and heated bathroom floors.
